  4. ║                    WINDOWS 3 INSTALLATION                           ║

  6. ║  To run 'OF MICE AND MEN' from Windows 3, follow these steps:       ║
  7. ║  1. copy the file OMM.PIF from the OMM directory to the directory   ║
  8. ║     where you keep your Windows PIF files.                          ║
  9. ║  2. Run Windows and open the Program manager.                       ║
  10. ║  3. Select the group to which you want to add the new programme,    ║
  11. ║     for instance Non-Windows Applications, or create a new group.   ║
  12. ║  4. Click on FILE/NEW/PROGRAMME ITEM and type OMM.PIF into the      ║
  13. ║     dialogue box for file name. For title you may use any name you  ║
  14. ║     like. Now click on OK and the title you chose will be added to  ║
  15. ║     the programme group, and given a standard DOS icon.             ║
  16. ║  5. Select the icon by clicking once on it. Now select              ║
  17. ║     FILE/PROPERTIES/CHANGE ICON   When the dialogue box appears,    ║
  18. ║     type C:\OMM\OMM.ICO as the file name. Click on OK and the       ║
  19. ║     new Mice and Men icon will replace the previous one.            ║
